Emmaneul Bronner, a third-generation German-Jewish master soapmaker brought the family's Old World soap recipes to the US in the late 1920s and established what has become the top-selling natural brand of liquid soap and bar soap in America. All oils and essential oils, used in Dr. Bronners soaps, are certified organic to the National Organic Standards Program. Bar soaps are wrapped in 10% hemp-flax / 90% post-consumer recycled paper from Living Tree Paper Co.

Face & body soap: Wet, lather and rinse.

Shampoo bar: Thoroughly saturate hair, section hair and rub the soap bar into a lather in your hands and then apply the lather directly to hair and scalp. Use hands to work into a lather, be gentle, keeping the hair lather concentrated on your scalp at this time. Avoid making one big pile of sudsy hair on top of your head. Instead, slowly work the lather around the scalp and down to the ends of your hair, use your fingers to massage your scalp. Rinse well and apply your favourite conditioner. 

Hand dishwashing soap: Work soap into a lather in dish cloth, use cloth to scrub dishes. Rinse thoroughly.
 

Keep soap bar out of water. This will help it to last longer!
