Flat Rate Shipping Fees (within Canada)

One of the many benefits of shopping at www.uneforlife.com is the convenience of around-the-clock access from the comfort of home. There is no need to find a parking spot, or drive to the next town to visit the only ‘health store’ in the area, or brave poor weather and roads just to get products that are healthy for you and the environment. In fact, you don’t even need to get undressed out of your PJ’s! Not to mention the high prices at the gas station and your time, you actually end up saving money by shopping online!! Sit back, relax, and shop on your schedule.

All orders ship from our office in Horseshoe Valley, Ontario (Canada). 

  • Within Ontario, flat rate of $10. Orders over $150 receive free shipping (see conditions below).
  • Within Canada, flat rate of $12. Orders over $150 receive free shipping (see conditions below).

Canada Post Ground for deliveries in Canada. 2 – 10 days. Includes tracking number and insurance.

International Shipping Rates (US addresses only)

We are happy to ship many of our products to US addresses via Canada Post Expedited Parcel™ - USA, which includes insurance (Up to $100.00 included) and a tracking number.  Sometimes orders will be too heavy or oversized and will incur additional charges. You will be notified prior to shipping, if this is the case.

  • To the U.S. orders $0 - $120 flat rate of $20 CAD
  • To the U.S. orders $120.01 - $200 flat rate of $25 CAD
  • To the U.S. orders $200.01 + flat rate of $30 CAD

You will be charged in CND funds. Orders shipped to the United States are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. These charges will be calculated by Canada Post and billed directly to you. UME For Life is unable to provide estimates for any customs fees; check with your local customs office for more information.

Orders shipped to US addresses will be shipped by Canada Post. Please note, Small Packet Airmail does NOT have tracking, whereas Expedited does. If you have a preference, please make a note in the comments box at checkout. Additional charges may apply.

You are responsible for package tracking fees and insurance (over $100), as well as taxes and duty that you may encounter at customs. If you require extra insurance, you will be billed separately for this. UME For Life will not be held responsible for lost or misdirected packages, taxes or custom fees associated with you order. Feel free to contact us for a quote if you are placing a large order. Please note, any and all offers of free shipping do NOT apply to US addresses at this time. Thank you for understanding.

 

Flat Rate Shipping Conditions

Some items are exempt from flat rate and free shipping due to weight and size. Orders over 15 pounds are not eligible for free shipping or the flat rate fee.

Remote locations in Canada are not eligible for free shipping and will be charged actual shipping cost. We will notify you by email if this applies to you. The rural areas of both United States and Canada will incur an additional shipping charge and may even experience delayed shipping time.

Taxes are applicable on the above listed prices. Shipping costs will be automatically added to your order at checkout.

 

Shipping Times

We carry all of our products in-stock in our Horseshoe Valley Location (unless otherwise noted). All in-stock orders will be packaged and shipped within 2 business days of receipt of your payment. Most orders leave our location the next business day! In order to process your order most efficiently, please remember to include an accurate email address and your telephone number. In the event of a website stock error and an item is unavailable or back-ordered, we will contact you prior to shipping your order.

The average order will take 3-10 business days to arrive to Canadian residents, and 10-14 days to US residents. Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday will ship the next business day. You can expect to receive your package within 1 to 7 business days from the day we ship your order.

These shipping times are an ESTIMATE only and are not guaranteed as we have no control over the postal system. If you do not receive your parcel by the indicated "delivery standard" time as noted on your tracking email, please allow an additional 1-2 days before contacting us, particularly during busy holiday times. It's likely your parcel will arrive within 2 days of this timeframe. If you require faster service, please let us know! We will be more than happy to accommodate in any way we can.

Please note, the shipping time to US residents is an ESTIMATE only as customs can sometimes delay a shipment by as much as 3-4 weeks.

We are not responsible for losses due to authority of law, local disputes, civil commotion, hazards incident to a state of war, local or national weather conditions, national or local disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, strikes or anticipated strikes (of any entity, including, but not limited to, other carriers, vendors or suppliers), and natural disasters (earthquakes, floods and hurricanes are examples of natural disasters). 

 

Returns

We want you to have an excellent shopping experience at umeforlife.com and are committed to providing you with quality eco-healthy products. We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for 30 days by refund or exchange. If you're not extremely delighted with your purchase, neither are we.

Saleable Condition
All items must be returned in saleable condition and in the original packaging for a full refund. Used items are not returnable due to health regulations, however if you are unhappy with the quality of any UME product we will gladly accept the return of slightly used products (within 30 days) and provide you with credit towards your next purchase at umeforlife.com.

If items do not have their full packaging, but are unused, there will be a 25% restocking fee applied.

We recommend that if you choose to ship your items back via Canada Post or UPS that you opt for delivery confirmation. That way you can be sure that your package arrived as scheduled.

Simply send your merchandise back to us:

1.   Repack the merchandise in its original packaging. A 25% restocking fee may be applied at our discretion if the returned merchandise is not in its original packaging.

2.   Include the following information with the merchandise you wish to return:

  • The original packing slip or email confirmation
  •  Your full name and contact information 
  • The action you wish for us to take ie: "Exchange for 2 of UME Quench Facial Serum, refund to my credit card, etc."

3.   Send your package with shipping insurance so that it arrives safely. We cannot process shipments that become lost or damaged in transit, so please send your merchandise back to us with care. Fragile items must be carefully wrapped to avoid scratches or cracks so that we can ensure a full refund or exchange.

Shipping Costs for Returns and Exchanges: 
In an effort to keep product and shipping prices affordable for everyone, shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

Did you receive your merchandise damaged? 
Send us an email at info@umeforlife.com. Please include your order number and a list of the damaged items. A photo of the damaged item and the packaging would be helpful so we can prevent future incidents. We'll promptly confirm and email you with replacement details. Feel free to call us at (705) 835-0171 if you would like to speak with us in person. Please retain shipping packaging; it may be required for insurance purposes.


Cancellations

You may cancel your order up to the time of shipping. Cancellation of any order once it has be processed will result in a 25% restocking fee.


Backorders

If an item you order is currently out of stock, we will contact you immediately via email.
