Shipping

When you place an order with umeforlife.com, we will take the time to carefully package and ship your order to you. Our goal is to have your order filled and shipped within 48 hours. Large orders may take longer. If you are in a hurry to get your exciting new purchases, choose an expedited form of shipping. We will do our best to meet your request and will inform you when we cannot. Should you have questions regarding a product's ingredients, colour, or whether a product is right for you, please feel free to contact us at info@umeforlife.com.

We currently use UPS as our shipping provider. If you require alternate delivery methods or courier service please contact us at info@umeforlife.com. Delivery times are dictated to us by UPS and are approximate. You can expect your order to fall within these times except during the Christmas season. Shipments and deliveries occur only on weekdays. UME online shopping cart automatically calculates package weight and shipping costs based on the items you select. We try to keep our shipping charges in alignment with the base charges we see from UPS but on occasion they can be higher or lower then what is displayed on your order. The estimated shipping costs are displayed before you finalize your order. Keep in mind these shipping costs are estimates only. If you would like an e-mail with the exact cost of shipping before we ship your order please let us know. 

 

We are not responsible for shipping delays and cannot credit for shipping expenses unless it was our fault.

Incorrect Address / Non Deliverable / Refused Shipments / Address Changes All returned and/or errors made on orders will be handled in a timely manner. If UME has made a shipping error, we will reship as quickly as possible. If the customer has made an address error, the customer is responsible for the additional shipping or address correction fee costs charged by the shipping company. If the customer refuses their shipment, the order is considered a non-authorized return and will incur a 25% restocking fee for stock items, plus all shipping charges. ALL shipping charges on orders are non-refundable.

How do I take advantage of your Free Shipping Offer?

If your order is shipping within Canada and the total comes to $150.00 or more (after any coupons or discounts and before taxes), then your shipping charges will automatically be deducted from your order total when you are ready to checkout. It's that easy!

Free Shipping Conditions:

  • The purchase of Gift Certificates does not count towards the Free Shipping offer.
  • Free shipping does not apply to wholesale customers.
  • Shipments that require extra shipping charges imposed by Canada Post may not qualify for free shipping. This is a rare occurrence and applies to: shipments of excessive weight, shipments arriving to extremely rural areas or bulk orders that cannot be combined. A separate invoice will follow your order, if extra shipping charges apply.
  •  UME reserves the right to choose which method of shipment will be used.


Please Note: If you received free shipping because your original order was based on a set minimum, we will deduct a shipping fee from any refund amount if your order total becomes less than the promotional minimum for Free Shipping due to the return made.
 

Returns

We want you to have an excellent shopping experience at umeforlife.com and are committed to providing you with quality eco-healthy products. We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for 30 days by refund or exchange. If you're not extremely delighted with your purchase, neither are we.

Saleable Condition
All items must be returned in saleable condition and in the original packaging for a full refund. Used items are not returnable due to health regulations, however if you are unhappy with the quality of any UME product we will gladly accept the return of slightly used products (within 30 days) and provide you with credit towards your next purchase at umeforlife.com.

If items do not have their full packaging, but are unused, there will be a 25% restocking fee applied.

We recommend that if you choose to ship your items back via Canada Post or UPS that you opt for delivery confirmation. That way you can be sure that your package arrived as scheduled.

Simply send your merchandise back to us:

1.   Repack the merchandise in its original packaging. A 25% restocking fee may be applied at our discretion if the returned merchandise is not in its original packaging.

2.   Include the following information with the merchandise you wish to return:

  • The original packing slip or email confirmation
  • Your full name and contact information 
  • The action you wish for us to take ie: "Exchange for 2 of UME Soothing Lavender Bath Vinegars, refund to my credit card, etc."

3.   Send your package with shipping insurance so that it arrives safely. We cannot process shipments that become lost or damaged in transit, so please send your merchandise back to us with care. Fragile items must be carefully wrapped to avoid scratches or cracks so that we can ensure a full refund or exchange.

Shipping Costs for Returns and Exchanges:
In an effort to keep product and shipping prices affordable for everyone, shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

Did you receive your merchandise damaged?
Send us an email at info@umeforlife.com. Please include your order number and a list of the damaged items. A photo of the damaged item and the packaging would be helpful so we can prevent future incidents. We'll promptly confirm and email you with replacement details. Feel free to call us at (705) 835-0171 if you would like to speak with us in person. Please retain shipping packaging; it may be required for insurance purposes.


Cancellations

You may cancel your order up to the time of shipping. Cancellation of any order once it has be processed will result in a 25% restocking fee.


Backorders

If an item you order is currently out of stock, we will contact you immediately via email.
